We are Carla and Katie, the founders of CK Fitness, with years of experience in personal training, boxing, kickboxing/Muay Thai, injury rehabilitation, and sports massage.
Note: For those who prefer a more private setting, we also offer online training and personalized sessions at home or in a local park.
I’ve been training with Carla for 8 years. Carla is an excellent PT - very knowledgeable, inspiring and motivational. She has a great personality too which makes training an enjoyable experience. I’ve also trained with Katie on a few occasions and she’s equally as talented - and her sports massages are fantastic. Both Carla and Katie are skilled individuals and their passion and dedication for what they do is evident. I would recommend them both.
I started having personal training sessions with Carla in the Autumn of 2021. Apart from general fitness training, I specifically chose her because she is a very experienced Muay Thai (kickboxing) practitioner. I have trained in several martial arts and I can honestly say that Carla is an excellent trainer. She takes you out of your comfort zone - but not too far! If you are interested in kickboxing or just in general fitness training, I cannot recommend Carla highly enough.
3 years ago I had a left knee replacement. Katie helped me, through targeted exercises, to prepare pre-op and to recover full mobility of my new knee. With weekly personal training she also helps me to maintain my mobility and agility and addressed other back & shoulder injuries that I've had. I'm not a gym enthusiast but she makes our varied weekly sessions enjoyable.
I’ve been getting regular massages with Katie for a few months now. My back always feels much better immediately after the session and the longer term results have been great too. I would definite recommend her!
